Vision Transcription & Vision Search
Quickture Vision helps you understand what’s on screen, not just what’s being said. With Vision Transcription and Vision Search, you can scan, search, and mark visual moments in your footage faster than ever.
Let’s take a quick tour!
Vision Transcription creates a visual transcript of everything happening on screen, paired with timecode and dialogue, so you can review footage at a glance.
Open your sequence as you normally would.
In the top-right corner of the Quickture panel, toggle Vision on.

Transcribe your sequence.
Once transcription is complete, Quickture automatically generates a Vision Transcript.
Open the Transcription dropdown.
Select Visual Transcript.

Toggle the eye icon to view:
Timecode
Visual descriptions
Dialogue transcription
It’s like having a shot list… but smarter.
You can export your Vision Transcript for sharing or external workflows.
• Open Settings

• Choose which transcript formats you’d like to export

Vision Search lets you search your footage using plain language. No scrubbing required.
Click the magnifying glass icon in the top-right of the Quickture panel.

Choose your search scope:
Current sequence
Entire project
Type what you’re looking for (for example:
“All shots of boats”)
Click Search:

Quickture will return a visual breakdown of matching shots, complete with timecodes, ready for review or marking.
You can also search visually using Guided Edit → Discuss mode.
• Vision Search gives you results across a project or sequence
• Guided Edit searches only within the currently active sequence

Same idea, different scope — choose what fits your workflow.
