We’ve added some great new features to Quickture, starting with critical tools to make your transcript perfect: fix lines, manage speakers, and use custom vocabulary to improve the transcriptions in the first place!
Fix Transcript Lines - Double click to easily fix a transcript line!
Manage Speakers - If Quickture misattributes a line, double click to easily reassign it to a different speaker. Or open the new Manage Speakers window to add, speakers, delete speakers, or merge two speakers to fix your transcript.
Custom Vocabulary - A new preference menu lets you add Custom Vocabulary to guide your transcriptions. No more misspelled character names, locations, or specific lingo! And a better transcript delivers better edits.
Duplicate Sequence - We added a Sequence Menu for sequence related actions. It lets you Duplicate a sequence, along with all its Quickture data so you can move a copy to other bins, or make changes and edits in one copy without affecting the other.
Discuss Longer Transcripts and More Transcripts - We improved our Discuss mode to handle much more footage so you can finally ask questions about multiple seasons of a show, dozens of interviews, and more.
Improved Reliability - We’ve increased our resilience to outages at sub-processors so if they go down, your edits can stay up.
Minor Bug Fixes
Fix delete sequences in the Standalone App.
Fix error related to unsupported characters in Custom Beat Score names.
Some of the newer AI models like to butter up the humans with flattering responses. It’s called “glazing”, and we started seeing some of that in our summaries. So we made adjustments so summaries stick to the facts.
UI Fix - Quickture features a stepper at the top to show you what state your sequence is in (transcribing, labelling, etc…). But it’s blue color made it seem clickable when it wasn’t. So we made it gray.
Duplicated Clips Fix - We’ve fixed the errors that occur when you have duplicated clips in your sequence! We know that there are legit reasons for having duplicate clips and we’ve updated our parsing engine to handle that.
Minor Bug Fixes
Fixed scroll bar handles that were not click & draggable. Now they are.
