We’re incredibly excited about our new integrated panel for Avid Media Composer! But it’s new so you may run into some issues.
Quickture uses Media Composer’s AAF and WAV export functionality to help transcribe your sequence. It requires two File Export settings called “AAF” and “WAV” to export these in the right format.
The AAF export setting is an Avid default. When you import your first sequence into Quickture, Quickture automatically creates the WAV export setting. But if your ingestion hangs at the “Export” progress state, it might be because these export settings aren’t present. You can check if they exist, and if they don’t or if they have been altered, you can create them by hand, following the settings listed here:

How to export AAF and WAV files to Quickture
The most important thing is to make sure the AAF setting is named “Quickture AAF - DO NOT MODIFY” and the audio export setting is named “Quickture WAV - DO NOT MODIFY”.
If the panel is getting stuck in an export state try the following:
Log out of the panel.
Close the panel window.
Quit Avid completely.
Reopen Avid.
Open the panel again and sign back in.
