Every time Quickture edits, it creates a new sequence so you never lose your old cuts.
With Quickture, it’s possible to create dozens, or hundreds, of unique sequences very quickly. Quickture makes it easy to navigate through the sea of sequences by automatically tagging each sequence with the prompt used to create it, and by organizing sequences into "lineages" automatically.
Here’s what we mean:
A Raw Sequence is the original interview, scene, or finished episode sequence, containing all the raw footage synced up.
A Child Sequence is any edit of that raw sequence. It's a step down the lineage.
The Parent Sequence is the one you prompted to get to the current sequence. It's a step up or back in time.
