This new version of Quickture is technically a BETA, meaning you may see some more bugs and we're counting on you to help us find them! So when you hit a bug, think about how you're contributing to the betterment of Quickture for all, and not about how annoying it is!
Multi-Edit Mode - Want to intercut 12 interviews? Or find all of the cookie recipes in 100 episodes of your baking series? Now you can with Multi-edit mode. You'll see a new tab in your raw sequence window labelled "Multi Edit". This tab lets you edit across some or many sequences that you've already ingested into Quickture. It's also great for combining interviews with scene work, editing montages and super teases, and more.
Identify Countless Speakers - Quickture is no longer limited to identifying 10 speakers. Quickture can identify 40+ speakers with very high accuracy. This new Advanced Transcription Service is rolling out in Full Episode mode for now. We've also improved our labelling UI to make it much easier to label your speakers. You can now click a speaker name in the transcript to change update. And scrolling the transcript autoscrolls the playhead.
Language Support - Quickture now works seamlessly in 6 languages with more to come! You can also change the interface to match your locale.
Longer Sequences, Faster Encoding, mp4 audio imports - The Avid client is vastly improved with much faster encoding and support for longer sequences. You no longer need to limit yourself to 2gb for the wav file, and if you prefer, you can export an mp4 with AAC compression (no video, just audio in your mp4) and ingest that with your AAF instead of a wav file.
Better Story - You won't see any new buttons, but we've improved the story engine across the board. You should get better results from all of your prompts.
Bug fixes - Bugs related to AAFs, missing markers, and more have been fixed.
